Bhartiya Shiromoni Puraskar - Institute of Economic Studies

The Institute of Economic Studies, New Delhi conferred the 'Bhartiya Shiromoni Puraskar' to Mr. Viresh Oberoi, Managing Director of mjunction and a "Gold Medal" to mjunction in recognition of enhancing the image of the Country in 2006

Business Simulation - All India Management Association

mjunction won the Eastern Regional finals of All India Management Association's (AIMA) National Competition for Business Simulation 2006.

Gold medal for implementing EPS

Enterprise Procurement System (EPS) an innovative and revolutionary application offered by mjunction was recognized in January 2008, by the Ministry of Finance, when they awarded the Rourkela Steel Plant (SAIL-RSP) the Gold medal for implementing EPS. EPS adds substantial value to the procurement process of PSUs as it eliminates wastage and saves time.

ISO 9001 : 2000

In FY '05 mjunction was awarded the ISO 9001:2000 Certification by Det Norske Veritas, Netherlands. In FY '07 the ISO 9001:2000 certification awarded to eight of its branches namely, New Delhi, Mumbai, Bhilai, Bokaro, Jamshedpur, Rourkela, Chennai and Durgapur The certification covers the Quality Management System Standards of the company for: eSales, eSourcing, Channel Financial Services and Software Solution Services

ISO 27001

The Company was awarded the ISO 27001 certification for information security in FY '08.

Business Excellence

mjunction has constantly been striving for Business Excellence, with best practices being followed in all functional areas. To keep itself in the forefront, the company institutionalized the Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM), which is based on the internationally recognized Malcolm Balridge Model. It provided the company with a methodology for setting goals and measuring performance.
As a part of its efforts towards Quality Management, the company has implemented the Japanese Kaizen Philosophy of 5S across business units and function to bring about effective workplace organization and standardization of work procedures leading to greater efficiency.

Corporate Social Responsibility

As a socially responsible corporate, mjunction believes in doing its bit for the society at large through various activities.
mjunction has been supporting various NGO's like WWF-India, Shishu Niketan Trust and also conducts Medical camps in far flung villages. The company also from time to time supports various sporting events like Basketball and Archery tournaments that are often neglected in the Country.

Ejunction

ejunction - a Trust formed by mjunction

• Objective: to spread basic computer education for empowering people which would lead to self sufficiency for their own and the growth of their communities.

• ejunction started computer and spoken English courses for peons and security guards employed at TATA Centre. In addition a set of teachers from various NGO's were also trained so that they could in turn impart computer education to the needy. More than 500 students have been trained in Computers, Use of Internet and English communication. ejunction is also trying to help them use their new gained knowledge in an effective manner.
