Viresh Oberoi, MD & CEO
Viresh Oberoi is the Managing Director and founder Chief Executive Officer of mjunction services limited. Mr Oberoi leads a team of over four hundred young professionals who are currently transforming the supply chains of Coal and Steel in India.

It is Mr Oberoi's vision, people skills and relentless pursuit of all round excellence that has made the phenomenal growth of the organization possible in a short span of time. His foresight has enabled him to seek out new business verticals after consolidating existing business segments. mjunction has transacted business worth over Rs.25,000 crores in FY '11, establishing it as India's largest eCommerce company.

Mr Oberoi's efforts at redefining the eCommerce business in the country were recognised when the Institute of Economic Studies, New Delhi awarded the 'Udyog Rattan' Award to him in 2005. In September 2006, the Institute conferred the 'Bhartiya Shiromoni Puraskar' to Mr Oberoi and a "Gold Medal" to mjunction in recognition of enhancing the image of the Country.

Ujjal Bhattacharya, Vice President, metaljunction, valuejunction & autojunction
Ujjal is a Metallurgical Engineer from Institute of Technology - Benaras Hindu University and an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur. He started his career with TATA Steel in July '84 and is with mjunction since November '01. Ujjal has over 10 years of experience in sales at TATA Steel. He was one of the key members of a group of handpicked people entrusted with the responsibility of implementing Business Process Re-design in TATA Steel. He has been instrumental in implementing major process changes in TATA Steel's Order Generation and fulfillment process and was also involved in the implementation of SAP and has over years experience in the area of process re-design enabled by IT.

In mjunction he was responsible for the successful launch of Online Forward auction service for Tata Steel. After stabilising the processes and systems he initiated the business process outsourcing concept with Tata Steel. He was successful in developing redesigned processes which delivered convincing value propositions to Tata Steel for outsourcing to mjunction the end-to-end operations of their secondary products business. He is presently responsible for implementation of two more new services in mjunction - Logistics and straightline.

Vinaya Varma, Vice President, buyjunction, coaljunction, Entreprise Procurement System (EPS) & Business Development Vinaya heads 2 Business Units at mjunction - Coaljunction & Buyjunction. He was instrumental in starting Coal and Financial Services at mjunction. He is also responsible for Business Development for mjunction's eProcurement services as well as development of New Businesses at mjunction.

He has extensive experience in large scale implementation of redesigned eCommerce based system & processes and at mjunction has led several succesfull implementations such as e-auction in steel & coal industry, online channel finance, eFinance, ePayments etc.

Before been transferred to mjunction in 2001, Vinaya was with Tata Steel, which he had joined in 1990 as a Graduate Trainee, after graduating from IIT Kanpur. At Tata Steel he had worked in areas of Rolling Mill Operations, Sales , Marketing , and several prestigious projects such as Business Process Re-engineering, SAP R/3 implementation and development of Customer Self Service Portal.

Soumya Sanyal, Head - Financejunction Soumya leads the emerging practice area for Financial Solutions which provides strategy, design and implementation for B2B market places. He is responsible for the development and implementation of supply chain and financial synchronization solutions, closely working with clients to improve margin, cash flow, and visibility in their supply chain operations. He also manages the key client relationships and oversees the business development and strategic partnership initiatives. He has been instrumental in branding "financejunction" from erstwhile financial services to bring about a full business unit identity from VAS.
Prior to joining mjunction, Soumya was Branch Head for Centurion Bank (now merged with HDFC Bank), where he was responsible for corporate and branch banking functions. Prior to that Soumya worked in Institutional Sales at Ispat Finance.
Soumya earned a Master of Business Administration from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies and is also a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers. He has more than 12 years of banking experience, concentrated in the areas of Corporate Banking, Trade Finance and eCommerce.

Rajarshi Chattopadhyay, Company Secretary & Head - Finance Rajarshi is a Graduate in Economics from the University of Calcutta and a Company Secretary. Prior to joining mjunction he has over 12 years of work experience with KPM, Beeyu Overseas Ltd. and K K Birla Group of Sugar Companies. He has extensive experience in Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital markets.
